Being a WATER CARRIER

wcpic1

The Water Carriers are some of the most important members of the regiment. Whilst the big butch Pikemen and Musketeers are out on the field defending Parliament from the ravages of the Royalist Hordes, the Water Carriers are defending the pike and shot from the ravages of dehydration and the Hangover.

A much unappreciated and very dedicated band, our water carriers are always there to provide water for the parched throats of the heat and alcohol ravaged soldiery. In addition to carrying water, several of them provide the first aid cover the regiment desperately needs.

The Water Carriers have also become responsible for recovering our "casualties"; those ordered to die for the cause by a vindictive Officer. The Water Carriers must collect the casualties and direct them back to the Reform Point for near instant recycling into fully fit soldiers.

And the Water Carriers must do all this whilst watching out for themselves from rampaging Royalist Horse
(and even our own on a bad day).

Every man and woman in the Regiment takes his / her hat off to this gallant band.
